- Duties
- Professional family in Queens Park are seeking a reliable, caring and enthusiastic nanny to care for B4 and G9 months (current ages).
The family are seeking a long-term candidate who can form a strong bond with their children and become part of the family over a number of years.
Mum will be returning to work in February and therefore can be flexible with the start date days and hours anytime from now until January 2022.
The ideal preference for days will be Tuesday and Wednesday however can also consider Monday and Tuesday with the optional inclusion of a Friday too if the nanny would like an extra day.
Hours will ideally be 7.30am-6.30pm however the family can accomodate a 6pm finish if preferred.
Some flexibility will also be required if the parents have to work later on occasion due to the nature of their jobs.
- The ideal candidate will be a professional nanny who is trained in childcare and early childhood development.
- Teaching experience (for 4 year old)
- Very organised, tidy, efficient, punctual and trustworthy
Typical tasks
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Maintaining all aspects of care routine, including following nap schedule, feeding, bathtime etc. and preparing healthy meals
- Organising and planning educational, creative, and engaging activities suitable for their age and stage of development
- Light general household contributions where possible i.e. folding childrens' clothes, loading/unloading dishwasher, and general tidying
- Occasional pick up and drop off of son from local pre-school on a Friday.
- All relevant checks and first aid certification
- Double dose vaccinated against Covid-19
- Non-smoker
- Full driver’s license preferred but not required (access to family car will be possible during working hours) and parking will be available for the nanny.
