Rockmybaby® babysitters are chosen for their experience in caring for children. Within our team we have mothers who have their own children or even grandmothers to meet all your needs and requirements!

We are parents working for parents, and have high expectations about what qualities a babysitter should have when caring for your precious children.
We want you to go out without worrying! We have a limited number of babysitters (not including nannies) in the Geneva and Canton of Vaud areas. We will make every effort to find you a suitable babysitter however due to limited number of babysitters in that area on our database, we cannot guarantee to find you someone. Should there not be any babysitters available in your area - your booking fee will be refunded
The Employer/Family is responsible for submitting the AHV/AVS social contributions and Taxes for the Babysitters (Income taxes only if Babysitter has a L or B Permit otherwise Babysitters with a C Permit or Swiss Residency will submit their own taxes). The family also has ensure they have the relevant accident insurances for employing household staff.
Please ensure you are registered as an Employer with your local AHV/AVS and keep track of the number of hours that the Babysitter/s have worked for you as well as ask them for their AHV / AVS number. Please submit each new Babysitter’s details that works for you to the AHV / AVS within 30 days of the Babysitting - if a Babysitter is under the age of 25 and does not earn more than 750CHF per annum with the Employer, there is no need to submit the AHV / AVS for that Babysitter. You can submit the AHV / AVS by submitting the Simplified AHV / Tax Form so as to include the Tax at Source with your AHV registration - please contact your local AHV / AVS office for this information or ask the Rockmybaby® office for advice.
Rockmybaby® GmbH is not the Employer of the Babysitters - the Individual / Family making the babysitting booking is the Employer and hence needs to take care of all legal deductions and contributions.
